Improving Student Reading Comprehension Using Narrative Text Question and Answer Method

This research aimed to improve students reading comprehension by using narrative text question and answer method. The method that use in this study was discussion between teacher. application of the used mixed with pre-test, post-test discussion. teacher asked read a about Bawang Merah dan Putih. conducted at SMA Bakti Idhata, located Jakarta, consist 40 10th grade class X-A. students’ classification score divided into seven categories, starting from highest lowest: excellent, very good, fairly fair, poor, poor. who got (excellent: 86-95) 12 students, but there no it before. Most (good: 76-85) which 20 while before that, 16 these score. student (fairly good: 66-75) 7 means significant different after treatment. (fair: 56-65) treatment 5 now nobody. And last, (poor: 36-55) only 1 has 3 students. value have been taught higher than were not conclude effective improving
